Production Journal (week 2)

Week two of our film is going good, but sadly not great. Our scheduling got a little mixed up when it came to timing and location, originally we had planned to film all week and weekend but sadly many of us couldn't come in on either one of the days and our directer (whose house we film at) had practice till late all week. We decided to just film friday afternoon, Saturday mid-day, and sunday morning. We made lots of progress on tuesday, on wednesday we lost a sound crew member, Alan. Talking about sound crew, their progress is a little slow. Not much work has been in done in foley and/or in sound effects. We have our editing started and in progress. I hope that by monday much of the progress of filming and foley is done.

Production Journal (Week #1)

I have an amazing crew working by my side. Sadly I could not join my team in our first week of production for personal reasons but im back and ready to go. This group works excepcionally well with eachother, we share many laughs but get serious when called for. We have not yet filmed anything but today is our first day of filming. Our actors are working very hard to memorize their lines and come up with actions for the film, our sound group is working together to realize and come up with good foley sounds that they'll need for the upcoming scenes. Our producer always has us on check and is always open to new ideas, like our director whos house she has opened for our use. This group is the best i could have asaked for, I look foward to making the amazin film I know we have.

Spike Lee's $1.25m Kickstart For "Bloody, Funny, Sexy" Film
 Spike Lees crowd fundraiser, was astonishingly successful, backers donate $1,325,481 in total. Steven Soderbergh who says Spike Lee is "a totally unique figure in American cinema," donated $10k. Short after Lee's target was hit he releassed a youtube video thanking god for his followers help with the kickstart. This is the third largest film to be funded by kickstarters users, the movie is described as "Bloody, Funny, Sexy." a thriller about humans wanting blood
